Chairing the Invited Session on AI-Enhanced Safety-Certifiable Autonomous Vehicles at IEEE ITSC 2024.

The invited session AI-Enhanced Safety-Certifiable Autonomous Vehicles was successfully held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the 27th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC). I am honored to have chaired this session together with Prof. Zhong-Ping Jiang (NYU), and I am pleased to have also delivered a presentation on Koopman generator learning and its application in transportation problems to identify dynamical systems for commercial vehicles (see the paper here). Credit is also given to the co-organizers: Prof. Melkior Ornik (UIUC), Prof. Xiaopeng (Shaw) Li (University of Wisconsin-Madison), Hangyu Li (Ph.D. candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison), and Dr. Heye Huang (postdoc at the University of Wisconsin-Madison).
I am also pleased to connect with experts in transportation systems and discuss potential collaborations on control problems in intelligent transportation.
